The Skills for Education and Employment (SEE) Program delivered by Interskills celebrated its first year of operation earlier this month. The SEE Program aims to improve the language, literacy and numeracy skills of eligible job-seekers as a pathway to employment, further training, volunteer work or an apprenticeship.
The SEE Program delivered by Interskills is provided across six Service Delivery Areas in South Australia; Northern Adelaide, Gawler, Adelaide Hills, South East, Kadina/Clare and the Riverland. Over the past year SEE students have found full-time and part-time employment and enrolled into accredited training courses. All students have improved their reading, writing, oral communication, numeracy and employability skills.
The SEE Program delivered by Interskills has worked in collaboration with external stakeholders including Renewal SA, Northern Futures, Department of State Development, RTOs and employers to embed language, literacy and numeracy in pre-employment programs and accredited training.
